Except the press are present for a multitude or raids. Here they are during a raid on the Adams crime family:

You're all acting like this is something new.

It would?

First bit of sunshine and I start listening to R2 and local beeb radio (there's a clue there) nobody came up with who I was, if they had I would've coughed.

A years wages expected, and that was for a measly no 29 and no 14, imagine a number 1, then imagine Abba with 9 mumber 1s.

I can recommend the music game, but you have to be on the writing side or you get 10 or 5 %, still, my co-conspirators will get something...to add to their dole money laugh
Are you Dave Pirner?

Who cares how the BBC found out about the raid, just seems like a diversion from the actual matter at hand.

....................................... Anyway isn't it funny how people can easily doubt my statement about royalties, yet can't accept that the government could be hiding something from us?

I'd laugh, if it wasn't so damn macabre!

Agreed Peter beer
The only thing worse than him not telling us who he is, is you alluding to knowing and not saying who he is. This is worse than that time we figured out Tommy from Trainspotting is a PH'er

I've stated who I think he is way back, but to save you reading all the posts, I think he is Peter Coyle who was the songwriter in the Lotus Eaters and that the song he gets royalties from on a regular basis is 'The first picture of you' which charted at no. 14 in 1983

HTH

P.S. I don't claim to be the first PHer to think that he was in the Lotus Eaters
I don't know who Peter Coyle is frown

Well now it seems the police raid could be illegal, in which case end of.

You seem a little too pleased a possible nonce might get off on a technicality, why is that?

Oh, well played, that man. In a single sentence you've judged CR, inferred that technicalities are somehow unfair (even though technicalities are what the law's about), and oh-so-subtly used innuendo as to Vipers' motives.

Just FYI, CR is no more a "possible nonce" than you are.
Apart from the fact someone has made an allegation against him and he's being connected to Elm Guest House, sure.

Shouldn't they be looking to find the truth? Or are they looking to pin something on someone? After all this is South Yorkshire Police.
The clue is in the name Crown Prosecution Service

There should be a law introduced which prevents historic allegations like this even being investigated.
If it wasn't life changing enough to report it at the time then it should carry no weight with the law at all.
I don't buy all this I was scared nobody would believe me nonsense, kids should be taught if someone does something wrong to report it to the police or a parent immediately. Same goes for adults.
Right, it's not like they have form for things like that:
