This is from a UKIP representative for Plymouth:

I get where they come from but isn't that saying that anyone middle class or upper class is "not normal" and therefore does not deserve a place?

So in effect they want the lower class to be happy but people who work hard (such as their bosses) should suffer?

You're not suggesting that the "working class" don't work hard, and only bosses do? And I'd suggest "we live with the consequences of liblabcon policies, so won't pass policies like them"(if a little naive, hard choices need to be made, that's the reality the mess we're in) is actually a reference to the elites like Miliband, Cameron, Clegg etc, and Thornberry.... Millionaires who can buy their way out of the consequences of their policies, (education) by sending their kids to private school, (health) buy paying to go private or jump the NHS queue buy paying to see an nhs consultant in his private practice, or (housing) by living on millionaires row.

This is not about "middle class" vs "working class" people, many middle class people can't afford those things either, this is the next level up of "middle class". People who can buy their way out of the consequences of their actions. That's how out of touch they are with the "working classes" who live in the real world in the UK, not the idyll of dinner parties, exhibition openings, talking shops at the Marxist book club, and weekends in the country, 2nd houses and 2 or 3 holidays a year in Tuscany & Gstaad.

Where I come from if you want to be upper class you work hard and get yourself to upper class, not sit around unemployed blaming the upper class for all your problems.

but you don't work hard to get to be upper class, you're born into it or inherit it,
Utter BS.

So people like Richard Branson or Alan Sugar were born into or inherited their wealth were they? Two of the most wealthiest and therefore upper class folks in the country who made it from 0 figures to 7+ figures....

I've had enough of this.

Why is there another UKIP thread?

It seems that part of the reason for these is so that the people who have repeatedly shown themselves incapable of behaving properly and arguing passionately but politely on volumes 1, 2or 3 of the main thread and got themselves banned vcan turn up and do it all over again.

Firstly those people should have temporary or in some cases permanent forum bans. Get out.

Secondly lock this thread.
I am not banned anywhere in PH forums. Until I am I will post what I want where I want to in agreement with the general rules.

Thanks.

So it was fun reading the whole thread.

The biggest point I took from all the posts were, is that if you want to vote for UKIP it seems the biggest thing you can do to contribute yourself is to insult anyone who does not agree with your views / does not agree UKIP should win the next poll.

Atleast that is what I can take from this thread.

ie

"If you don't agree with me/UKIP you're retarded!" seems to be the most popular expression.

"Upper Class" =/= Rich.

Plenty of "upper class" people with not much money, plenty of stinking rich with not much class, Sugar for one.
I think it is obvious you are upper class if you have over 500mill networth, are a member of the House of Lords, and get driven around in a car you own which has an RRP of more than the majority of UK houses.

But what you think is not necessarily true, you should always bear that in mind.
Whereas what you think is always true?

Why did you think that was referring to you? Because it wasn't. Something you'd like to share?

The mods have a clear view on this. Banned from volume 1 of a thread. Behave the same volume 2 then out they go on their ear. Not coming back.

Still don't see why you are getting all twitchy. Within the the rules no problem. Trouble is some can't behave.
Because you quoted me?

As for UKIP, I find it really sad that all the extremists / BNP types have come across as supporting UKIP and telling people the UKIP represents them, simply because it wants to have better control over the UK border....

Since when does stopping immigrants coming in = throwing out all non-whites which is what the BNP wants?

Question:

How are they going to keep illegal immigrants out of the UK if they cannot even keep drugs out of the UK (considering we are one big island)...
