The publication we all love to hate yet still cite seems to have an identity crisis. Along with being unable to deliver quality journalism, but that's another matter entirely.

I'd not realized that they were in the business of re purposing content instead of carrying out something more like real newspaper work...oh. Hang on.

Just goes to show what an click bait operation it really is, rather than a source of news.

It is the mastery of the click bait that they do so well.
Work we're looking for examples of compelling content and time and time again the Mail come in as doing this really well.
Trying to point out the flaw in mimicking their approach fell on deaf ears as (like many others have said) it's competing against guilty tabloid pleasure.


And yes, kudos to JD spotting the Gawker ironic post. :-)
