Is this the worst claim of the GE?

Arrived home in Glos this evening and found a flyer from one of the main parties.

It was very much possibly the funniest document I have seen in this GE.

The worst aspect was as follows:

A Strong Economic Foundation!
Labour will Balance the books
Labour will cut the deficit every year while securing the future of the NHS

The Tories have Left us with the slowest recovery in 100 years
The Tories have borrowed £200Bn more than they planned

Oh - Thank fk they cleared that up for me as I hadn't realised the previous administration hadn't fked things up and everything is the Tories fault....

FFS - we are all doomed.....

Milliband keeps saying now about the IFS that they don't understand his view of how things will turn out therefore as voters you should believe him.
In which case why at PM questions over the years and ED balls over the years use IFS comments when it for their arguement against Tory's against them? You cannot have it both ways.


Reminds me of SNP and the Pro Yes campaign they championed the GERS independant group who analysed historic data so they loved the 2010.11 & 2011.12 data and used it all the time yet when 2012.13 & 2013.14 and now 2014.15 has come out and gives an utterly different view SNP rubbishes them.... . Must think the voting public were born yesterday

Another problem is that a lot of the general public have the memory of a goldfish or are just thick.

We were watching Cameron on the news re the slurs against him, blaming him for the deaths in the Med. DC made the mistake of saying 'I will let you decide what to make of those slurs' or similar when he should have rammed home:

'It is disgusting and repellant to score cheap Political points over a human crisis affecting all of Europe and not only should EM publicly apologise, he should by definition share any responsibility personally as he voted FOR the intervention! The man is an utter hypocrite and I am embarrassed; as this country and his own Labour Party should be by these disgusting and unprofessional statements and cheap point scoring! This shames EM and the Labour Party! I thought he was better than this? He obviously isn't.'

Or similar?

Labour are the much better party in opposition as they are simply nastier and harder when they need to be in order to sway voters. The will resort to pure rhetoric and damn lies to make their points as the leaflet I received shows.

EM was on yesterday (I think) saying we need details, not rhetoric! 'Saying something needs to change and something needs to be done, simply isn't enough! We need details.... Or is it all just hot air and bluster' or similar.

Give me strength!!!!

I went to school with him, and I didn't think much of him back then

We had a right good chuckle about the free transport guy! Isn't he the one that wants all non violent crims released from prison? Along with a whole list of other well thought through ideas and promises
