Bloody hell more than 970 dead so far and there have been deaths in India, Tibet, Bangladesh and Mount Everest. Nepal is now quite popular with tourists so I wouldn't be surprised if people from Briton are amoung the dead
RIP to all those killed so far but I have a bad feeling the number will rise massively, and with the airport said to be damaged help is going to be delayed
The roads outside of Kathmandu are just dirt tracks in most cases, these are carved out of hillsides, I think getting relief to the rural areas will be very challenging, if not impossible for some time! RIP to all those killed so far but I have a bad feeling the number will rise massively, and with the airport said to be damaged help is going to be delayed

Got friends out there at the moment, they are registered on the Red Cross as missing, we are all checking the websites in case they register as "I'm Alive".
Can only echo Asterix's comment, beautiful country, amazing people.
