Where are the forums and discussions with the people who genuinely believe the Labour / Green fairy stories?

Everything I read online appears to be the opposite to their views, do they not use the internet?

Go for it, we will be nice! However any opinion must be backed up by facts, don't you agree?

This is part of the problem, in PH world the Tories never lie, don't talk bks, don't announce plans they can't afford.

If you do think that you haven't been following the election coverage
Agreed, that is why I am voting UKIP.

So a person who made money from capitalism: manufacturing items - in his case servicing as well - to sell at a profit, reckons that capitalism has cost him.
I also manufacture for a living. During the recession in 2009 I lost almost everything and 30 people were made redundant because our bank pulled my overdraft without warning. Did I blame the bank or capitalism, no I blamed myself for not having a stronger cash-flow plan and more in reserves to ride out the storm.

Bad business people who fail are like people with left wing views, its always someone else's fault.

Can I ask you a question.

Do you leave the front door permanently open to your house?

over the top, reactionary right wing opinions are about all you see in the political threads..
Do you mean facts or logic?

I find it hard myself to understand, do people want things run by emotion or intelligence. Generally facts do not distinguish the difference between left/right but emotional people seem to want to attack people who say things they don't like (putting heads in sand mentality).

I have yet to see a socialist point that I agree with, not because I like arguing, simply because they make no sense to me. A bit like Dr Spock I need logic!

Different strokes for different folks I suppose, which is perfectly fine with me as long as I don't have to pay for your choices, fair no?

That's pretty much the approach you adopt on the EU thread. Whenever an argument is put to you that you don't like, you either wilfully ignore it, repeat what you said previously even though it has been disproven, or refuse to listen because the argument contains a few long words that you profess not to understand.

If you want a genuine debate, that's not really the way to go about having one, is it?
Ok, so you have basically just attacked me and spun the point in a different direction.

What reaction would you like, genuine debate, is that what this is?

Not really, when they keep saying really big and complicated words like: borrow, take, tax, not fair, more, 3 point plan and so on, it does go over my head.

Calm down Dear. Merely pointing out that, where you come across opposing points of vew, you tend not to engage with them at all, which leads me to doubt whether you actually are interested in a debate with opposing viewpoints at all. I give the example of the EU thread because, when another poster gave quite a detailed response to your assertion that the EU was "undemocratic", this was your response:
"The fact that you have used so many random words proves a point that's for sure."
Given the effort he put into explaining the situation, I expect he found that response rather disappointing.
So, do you genuinely want an exchange of views with opposing points of view?, in which case why not start practising what you preach, or are you just keen to have a pop?
Go on then try me, I still fail to see where I have had a pop at anyone, you sensitive souls!

FFS (stamps feet, is this how it works?)

As an example I have some tradesmen friends, plumbers builders and so on, they have reasonably nice homes, cars etc. they get up early and graft really hard, plus the sensible ones have put themselves out to train and gain new skills meaning they can command extra money.

I also know a very clever plumber who has excellent skills but never turns up on time, always lets people down and is a lazy git, he doesn't have a pot to piss in and complains about everyone else having more than him!

The point is that as a percentage more hard working people become wealthy than lazy people, would you agree?

I can't say anything on PH without being accused of being anti welsh because about 2 years ago a made a rather poorly timed sheep shagger quip. The problem with debating idiots is they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience, most people know this so don't engage, only the truly bloody minded and stupid (like myself) take on the PH massive on threads like the UKIP one - but I don't for one minute worry that their opinions represent the wider populace.
I though part of the comparison was how you and others kept repeating the same trivial things about UKIP, blowing out of all proportion to reality, ie if one idiot makes a mistake the media and people on here keep going on about the same old drivel. Idiots are everywhere in all walks of life and political parties, it would be nice if a more balance approach could be taken from everyone, especially the BBC media!

Just get out of this particular sub forum.

Plenty of sane rational people on the rest of PH who just laugh at it because of how reactionary, right wing and yes, racist, it has become.

It used to be conservative but with a bit of respect. Now it's just a blinkered little corner that cannot take any form of critique.

I duck in now again to find out what the daily mail has said without actually having to give them any ad revenue hehe
I was actually thinking this particular form discussion was going quite well, with people of both left/right being rather civil with each other, perhaps its the nice weather that puts people in a better mood, who knows!

And then muppets like this come along and spoil things.
