Sex offender release

A house two doors away from my niece, her partner and their young child has become home to a recently released child sex offender, a 55 year old male. Apparently the monster in question owns the house which was tenanted in his seven year absence. Local residents became aware of his reappearance and made them aware. Surely it's time that immediate neighbours of such scum are made aware of such situations by the authorities ? How often does one read of repeat offences by convicted rapists and kiddie fiddlers ?

Multiple offences against girls aged 13 and 14, dosing them with drugs and taking advantage........ don't think a media link to the original 2008 coverage would stay on this thread long.......would it ? after all it's public information..............Bacup in Lancashire to answer the location questions .....
