Really hope this young lad is found safe and well. Have to ask though; walking two miles to a park at the age of just 7?

Hmm, BBC reporting that they believe they have found him. Forensics activity constrained to one street.

Heck of a thing for the parents to live with regardless of the circumstances. My son is nearly 7 and I don't let him out of sight, let alone a solo 2 mile walk crossing numerous busy roads.
