Well. Another reason for Putin to be cheerful. Russia now face being expelled from Rio 2016.

Apparently for Sochi, clean samples were taken months in advance and frozen then swapped out on site for the new dirty ones taken at the time.

The on-site doping laboratory even had a hidden hole in the wall to a second lab next door with whom new dirty samples were exchanged for the clean ones on stock.

Unbelievable.

Blanket ban for the nation surely can be the only suitable punishment?
