This advert easily qualifies for a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority. If the roles were reversed it would immediately be denounced as racist. A neutral advert certainly wouldn't have one of the figures involved being threatened by the other. It arguably goes far enough to be accused of inciting racial hatred. It is a shameful piece of work.

(Edited to add) It seems that politically-motivated advertising in non-broadcast media has an exemption from the remit of the ASA.

I'd say the woman on the left is .... non-European
laugh Oh the irony.

How did you come to that conclusion? A racial stereotype by any chance? What would lead you to believe that she was not born and raised in Europe and would by most definitions be considered European?
Because, given her age and the historic timeline of immigration from the Indian sub-continent, she's very very likely to be a first-generation immigrant and therefore not born in Europe.
could just as easily be a recent arrival over here come to be taken care of by her family (they having arrived quite some time ago) wink

WRT to your other quote about 30% deciding our fate... I agree in principle. I suspect that the one way that would guarantee a vote one way or t'other would be for remain/exit to say that the other side was going to ban all 'reality' or 'talent' shows - then all the slack jawed fkwits would be rushing to vote!

The tactics of the pro eu campaign really disgust me.

The power of fear is the best tool of the lazy corrupt scourges that run us though.

I'm somewhat standing back as I don't think we'll leave the eu regardless of which way the vote goes, the only difference is that a remain vote will be used as justification to seal our inevitable place in the eurosuperstate with schengen/abolition of the £ probably before the next general election.
You actually believe that Schengen & the £ will be abolished by 2020?
The Brexit camp are getting pretty desperate if you ask me, they are the ones promoting fear and constantly peddling falsehoods in a last ditch effort to avoid humiliation..
No, there is no chance at all that either will be in place for 2020, unlikely by 2025 and I'd be surprised if it even happened in the next parliament (thought not very)
