No leaning either way, no undecided just same choices as the ballot paper.

Hopefully the moderation team will allow this one to run.

Plenty of discussion threads already but both sides feel free to give it a bump if it drops off the first page.

Unless it could be a sticky for the next 4 days and then no bumps are required.

I couldn't sleep last night for sheer, unbridled trepidation - the hope that I'd log on to PH this morning and find a brand spanky new EU thread.

Imagine my satisfaction, relief and joy when I found that the 23,101st EU thread had indeed been created.

Wonderful.
Thank-you

This is NOT the same choices as the ballot paper. There is a third choice - to spoil your ballot paper as a protest (tick both boxes, or draw a cokc and balls)

In my poll I included spoil and abstain as options.
Sorry Adam - felt there was no need for them

What would spoiling the paper represent - yes they are always counted but they make up a very small percentage of the vote?

What does abstain mean in terms of vote context - Person doesn't vote they don't vote (we get that result from the turnout numbers)

I wonder if we might all be in for a bit of a surprise. I suspect there will be plenty of protest voters out there who would really like to give the current establishment/elite a bloody nose, possibly because they "hate" Cameron/Osbourne/Tories. But they might get a bit scared at the prospect of a "leap into the unknown". If their perception is that Remain will win, they are quite happy to vote Leave as a protest, but if they think that it's getting a bit too close to a Leave win, they retreat to their safety blanket (what they think of as the status quo - erroneously in my view).

In other words, Leave only get their vote if those voters think Remain will win.
^ definitely a possibility

By putting a cross in both boxes the ballot paper will be counted and included as part of the turnout, thereby increasing the legitimacy of the result.
OK then - Added

It's a democracy after all biggrin
