Interesting comments from the French.

"The days when the French handled the whole burden and the British signed a cheque are over. To date, the means they have put into it have been largely cosmetic, that has to stop,"

"The British people have chosen to take back their freedom, they must take back their borders,"

"Boris Johnson wanted change and he got it with Brexit. So do we."

What happens when the fences at Calais (which the UK pay for and maintain) get knocked down and the French don't do a dam thing about it, think EU migration will be the least of the problems.

We can choose to do as we like. Maybe just like we do at the airports, we just send them back to their port of departure on the next available transport.
Airport are different, you will have a passport, if they come by a very short sea crossing with no passport, where will you send them? Illegals with no passport are very difficult to process and end up in the system for years, eventually after 12 year Boris will make them Citizens... Nice one Leavers!!
