Doesn't sound like carbon monoxide with a "bang" heard inside the car, most odd.

One of the Neighbours was quoted as saying it sounded like an exhaust bang. Apparently the lad had just had some modifications done to it so was probably trying it out.

Whatever happened it's very sad
