May not be the correct part of forum to post, & a slightly odd question:
Does anybody know which building many TV interviews seem to take place with politicians. It features a large staircase with blue carpets, & the interviewees are normally questioned while standing on one the landings; there is a lamp featuring white globe type lights on the newel post. Simple curiosity....

It's 4 Millbank.

I worked at the Rexam HQ in that building for a while, leaving in the evenings was usually a pain due to interviews being filmed on the stairs.
There's a commercial broadcast facility in there, yet they always film on the stairs and landings.
