USA to be invited to be associate member of Commonwealth?

Reading this flying a kite about suggestions to invite the United States to become an associate member of the Commonwealth, 
and remembering the thing the Americans tend to remember about their own independence movement, namely the Boston Tea Party, should we have a similar event when we tell Brussels to go swivel.
Suggestions.
In the interest of inclusivity, suggestions of both a positive and negative nature towards Brexit are welcome.
This of course is not a serious thread, just for the giggles.
Perhaps we should park a big red bus somewhere?
