What's an estimate cost of running a dish washer?

Taking into account cycle time which is well over an hour on water, which seems to pull from our hot water tank (as I found out a couple of times jumping into the shower after with no hot water) etc.?

£1-2 estimate?

Never had a dishwasher
Thought it was odd drawing from hot water, will see if I can check

had a quick look under sink, i think it is only cold feed, but has a plastic type bottle inbtween the pipe and connector?

so not sure why it would take the hot water from the hot water tank!?

will try the eco wash, thanks.

but yeah tablets aside, electricity etc.
