Credit reference agencies ( free check)

Is there any such thing ????
Are all credit ref agencies giving out the same information ??

I have always had an impeccable credit history, even when out of work payments were made on time, due to a credit reduction letter from my bank that says for info go to a credit ref agency ( rang the bank and they will not say what they have been told) I am just loathe to pay £15

Might have to bite the bullet then, Lloyds letter gives the name of an agency, their registration says something about 15 days before they take a payment, I could have a look and then cancel, wonder if my card details that are used in the registration will be cancelled as well

I registered with Experian, (30 day free trial)
Came back with a 'good' score, 6 points from excellent, there were 6 positives and no negatives, makes me wonder what callcreditcheck, who are now compass and the chosen company of Lloyds are talking about
