Hi Guys

I recently got an iPhone 6S and it has 'Apple pay' on it. Unfortunately, my bank (Barclays) doesn't support it yet, so I need to get a credit card for it to work - Specifically MBNA or Amex going by the list on Apple's website (the rest are just banks). I plan to pay the balance in full each month.

I went onto MBNA's website, and saw the wide range of cards - but I literally just want something simple rather than a charity or football card, so I've narrowed it down to their blue "low-rate" card and their platinum card. All the features seem to be the same (fraud prevention, Apple Pay compatible, etc) other than the rate of interest charged (which isn't really of any concern to me as it will be paid in full each month anyway). So I was really just wondering, whats the difference?

Does credit card colour snobbery still exist? (the whole thing about a gold card, platinum card, etc)

Typically a Platinum card will have a much higher credit limit and require a better credit rating.
