Small silly question about a credit card.

I've just cancelled my car insurance mid term and as such there is a return premium being paid back to me.

The credit card I normally use to pay my car insurance annually doesn't have any outstanding balance on it so when they refund the return premium will it just show as a credit on my statement and if so can I just ask them to transfer it to my bank account?

It's an old credit card that I use once in a blue moon.
