I agree that in the short term there will be extreme reactions but I truly beleive that when all settles in a few months, normality will return and we will all just get on with making the situation work........I hope!!

Looking more likely that the EU will implode - looks like UK leaving will turn into a mass exodus........just my opinion

So we have had a referendum with a fairly decisive outcome.

Some dont like the outcome and as such are initiating steps for the possiblity of a second referendum.

Issue is that it seems to be being given consideration, why the air time if it wasnt.

The Country has made a decision through a democratic process but lets have another go because some dont like it..........ridiculous!!

Only in the UK getmecoat

We will actually be OK but only if we are absolute bds and ruthless about it. The whole of the EU is open for pillaging just as it has been for 1000 years. If we are to grow, they must shrink. It's as simple as that. There's no sharing and being poorer together. We've always been richer than nearly all of Europe and I doubt anyone will be interested in that changing.
I agree and I think they will try to make an example of us so we need the right leader, one who will be tough. Can we resurrect Maggie?
I agree we need a very strong and single minded leader who will push us through the short term difficulties we have ahead.

Was interesting to hear that UK allegedly stated their concern about immigration issues that subsequently looks like it was the catalyst for the 'leave' decision.

Was also no surprise that the UK didn't help matters due to the 'magnetic' power of the benefits system. Maybe there will be a mass migration program by those now looking to come to the UK but in the long run it probably wont matter in the scheme of things.

I think that the press is being a bit too negative about all of this, especially as others appear to be now looking to copy the UK.

On my selfish note, I hope that the £ recovers its value. I expected it to lose some value but remember it did have an artificial spurt when the view we were staying looked likely. Without that sudden growth, maybe it hasnt lost too much ground?

Interesting times ahead yes

Do you not think that if the negative press machine was to cease and more positive scenarios were spread, most of the hysteria would subside and in turn boost the economy?

Obama has backtracked somewhat but wheres the positive reinforcement message regarding this?

Bad news tends to be better received than good and we Brits need to be more receptive to factual positive good news instead of all the newspaper selling drivel and opinion.

Boost it above where it would have been if we voted Remain?
No.

Just in a presentation from a guy who handles $70bn + in marketing budgets.
His over-riding message was that what businesses want is certainty.
What the government wants to do now is to delay things as long as possible: they have no plan, evidently.
So he sees "corporates becoming even more cautious".

It's not a collapse in global GDP but certainly it doesn't help.
So lets concentrare on the negative aspects instead of the sentiment of what I am trying to say!

We should embrace change and make it positive, its does actually wirk you know. Maybe I am the eternal optimist but I have to say that my attitude has served me well.
