I've just sold something on a well known auction site and assumed I'd be paid via PayPal (I didn't offer any alternative). The buyer wants to pay be cheque - assuming I wait for clearance before posting is there any downside?
I've received a PP payment, there seems to be a plausible explanation which I won't go into now, but if I do end up being scammed I'll tell you all, and you can have a laugh at my expense . BTW my item is eligible for Seller Protection.
