A friend of mine is moving to a new company under TUPE agreement. I understand this protects salary / terms etc. I went through it myself last year, it worked out really well..

Her question is, she has a good salary + a 5k car allowance (taxable). The new company does not do car allowances currently for her job type. Do they have to honour this allowance under TUPE, or buy her out of it etc?

Pretty sure its contractual, it goes with her job grade?
