Used this online local freecycle site to list stuff I didnt have any use for, although you do get genuine people its amazing how many piss takers you get.
Advertised a load of wood for woodburner free to pick up anytime,
some of the replies are unfkn believable eg -

can you send me pictures of what you have - Answer = NO
can you deliver it - answer = NO
would it be suitable to build a kitchen table out of - answer = NO
can you keep it for me until next month (3 weeks) - answer = NO
can you cut it up for me to collect - answer NO, bring a saw!
could i build a shed out of it - answer = NO

the lot went within 48hrs to someone who turned up and took it - no stupid questions, I have told them I will contact them again when I have another lot to shift ( left overs from large extention build and new roof on existing house!)
Its just incredible the sheer volume of aholes that when you offer something for free expect you to do the running about for it!

the really irritating thing regarding alledged "Wanted" ads is the fact that the majority of that stuff turns up advertised for sale the following week.....
