Worst "I'm considerably richer than yaw"/Willy-Waving thread ever.

Oli.
Not necessarily. Depends on the area doesn't it. Where I live, £400k barely buys and ex-council semi but it would buy 5 beds and an acre north of Peterborough to use just one example.
Absolutely! I'd point out that I paid £134K for my house in 2009 (its in a small village in Northern Ireland).

The point of the thread isn't a 'willy waving' exercise, it struck me that the 'all creatures great and small' forum has threads with cat/dog pics, the foodie forum has pics of peoples' dinners but the 'homes gardens and DIY' forum didnt have pics of peoples' houses. That is all.

I hate you* for your lawn!!

Where are the mole hills and weeds?!!

  • Not really
There are no moles in Northern Ireland as far as I'm aware, I've never seen a mole hill or a mole for that matter, strange but I ain't complaining! And believe me there are plenty of weeds, they've just been decapitated smile

Look nicely kept to me.

Lets see a pic of your palace!!
I'll admit, you'll see more well kept council houses in NI than you tend to see in England.
Granted, there is the odd exception. smile
They aren't council houses your Royal Highness loser

Can I do it without giving the address away?
Is the tax man after you or summit?

In paint, select what you want to show (using the rectangle option) then hit 'crop' and save the cropped version smile

Nope. Just didn't want want to advertise my precise address!

Would you post your address and postcode on PH?
Well come on then, are we going to see the house or are we going to debate the pros and cons of putting your address on PH all day?!

P.S. No I wouldn't coffee

thank pink house across the way must really piss you off!
  • Sigh - I wish I could say it doesn't bother me and that people are free to paint their own houses whatever colour they want etc but truth is it bugs the absolute fk out of me! I'm considering posting a few Dulux brochures through their letterbox as a hint FFS
