Tri-ang pedal car restoration

Have started my pedal car restorations, if anybody is interested I will post a few pics.

Started a couple of weeks ago so have a few pics so far, have a few bits missing so have started making up a few parts if it helps someone in the same situation?
Started by blasting and coating the axles/pedal mechanism etc, that's the easy part. Second I blasted the wheel inners and painted them silver, chrome was an option but wanted to do them all myself.

My first pedal tractor was like the one attached, never had a car so making up for it now!

Bodies ready for paint, going to paint one at a time as not quite sure what livery to paint them all.
The first will be in gulf colours as I'm not a purist but a big McQueen fan.

Was a couple of air scoops missing so set about and made some.

Such a shame, all those skills lost along with a lot of other industries. Not many people left to pass the skills on!

Senna is very high on the list, already have a Moss Lotus in BRG so maybe a black and gold JPS would look good in the line up.
