As well as items dotted around the garden, old windows in the shed and to top it off the Duck run is literally how the ducks lived in it, not cleaned out at all.

Waiting for the solicitor to get back to us about next move.

Im waiting on a clearance quote as i have enough to deal with and shouldnt be clearing all there Cr**. All i want to do is get the garage sorted so the Radical doesnt stay in storage any longer. I knew the base was past saving but the plan is to house the Radical there temp until the new garage is built.

Thankfully there is no loft. Bungalow converted so no loft space. Yes have spoken with a few neighbours, most haven't spoken to the old owner for a few years since he applied for planning to build a 2 bed bungalow in the garden, not really room for it so 4 closest neighbours opposed it.

Thats not mentioning the disgusting/broken oven that was left (new one purchased and being fitted today). leaking tap in the kitchen (new one fitted yesterday) and 8 downlighter bulbs changed.

Incidentially I believe they only need to leave one light bulb! Obviously most will leave the all!

Our vendor went round and changed all the light fittings to a pendant and bulb, and took all the curtain rails, never sure whats gained by this as the chances are they won't fit in the new house!
the bulbs were there, just blown. They had agreed in the contract to removing the light in the lounge and did have that replaced with a rose/bulb. most curtain rails were being removed, apart from bedroom 2/3 in the contract, opps another plus for us. they removed them all.

Thankfully, apart from the odd plant inside the house its in very good condition considering the garage. Wifey has been busy cleaning everything tho.

Why are you moaning about getting free stuff ?

I see a Workmate bench in there and at least £4 in scrap metal.

Think of it as "additional value"

wink
Because all that free stuff is Cra*.

Workmate is broken (and i already have my own) £4.00 in scrap? would use more fuel/energy than that. tongue out

Do you want a wheel barrow or two of duck Sh**? wink

Or maybe some old window frames? a broken trampoline (small 2ft one), some broken plastic garden chairs just to name a few items. might push the scrap items to the front of the garden and hopefully the local scrap dealer will find them biggrin

I bought a house once and they must of spent ages moving all their random crapninto the loft that was dotted arou d the house into the loft, was odd as I'd imagine it would of been easier to take to the tip

I'd had enough of solicitors so couldn't be bothered, was about 4 406 estate and trailer loads, so I just got on.

I'd be tempted to bill them for REMOVAL and when they agree dump icon their new drive
i would love to dump all on there new driveway, sadly they have moved from essex to somewhere in Norfolk.

All i want is the garage so i can store the radical temp until this one is knocked down wink i knew it wasnt in the best of shape when we put the offer in. What i didnt want was to have to clear all his junk that he clearly didnt want before i could do that. that will be an extra week or two's storage costs before i can clear it now then.

Guess we were expecting too much for him to remove the old junk before he moved, just like we did (not much TBH) but we did clean top to bottom once the removal guys were finished, also swept the old garage out for the new owner. Oh and removed all our rubbish at the end, unlike Mr Roberts, 3 bags of recycling, two bags general waste,a bin of empty bottles and a food waste thats full. Oh well, either a skip or a trailer load to deal with, and a few £££'s for my trouble, that should keep me happy biggrin Then once the radical is back i can finally get a track day in. The world will be much better after that.

Hmmm, i would have been wondering what was wrong. winkbiggrin

Anyway, get home last night to a further 3 blown downlighters. Grrr what cheap tat bulbs have they used? or is there an electrical gremlin? 13 downlighters in the hall/bathroom (not correct type over the shower either) & 8 in the kitchen, so far i have changed 8, with another 3 to do. LED time i think.

The GU10s trend to blew because they overheat. More than likely they're installed with no ventilation?
