Another kitchen question; I want to plumb my washing machine and dishwasher wastes directly to the 40mm waste pipe, rather than using connections under the sink.

The waste pipe runs behind both and this will give me a neater setup under the sink and more room in the cupboard.

I'm struggling to find a solution for plumbing this way as all I can find are connections for under the sink. What am I looking for?

Thanks for the link, I should be able to sort something out with one of those. I do have space behind because the worktops are 620 and the plaster doesn't run at the bottom of the wall, giving me about 3 inches to play with.

Ta.

I could do, it's just not as neat and will take up more space, thugh it does cause a couple of extra problems.

Without the waste connections there's a U-bend straight under the sink, which puts the exit at exactly the right height to leave the unit without any cutting. Adding the waste manifold thing then means cutting an exit hole in the unit and also means a lot of messing about with the water pipes as the waste then interferes with the cold water coming in.
