Can this be a holiday let?

The lease says...

"...to use the flat or any part thereof or permit or suffer the same or any part thereof to be used for the purpose or any trade manufacture or business of any description or for any other purpose than for private residential purposes....."


Does this exclude holiday letting? We cannot make up our minds!

Yes it is excluded - well holiday lettings is a business

BUT, surely when you rent a house for holiday you are in effect a private residential tenant for those 2 days / weeks.
