Kitchen Appliances - which brand?
Discussion
I'm finalising a Wickes kitchen tomorrow, and I have to allocate 4 appliances into the order;
Pyro single 60cm oven
Induction hob
Hood
Freestanding 60cm fridge/freezer
The only brands Wickes do are AEG, Zanussi or Electrolux, which I believe all now sit under the same parent group, thus you pay for the style/features with AEG rather then any quality difference?
We've stretched our budget on the kitchen and gone for solid oak doors and thick solid wood worktops, so with that in mind I'm not wanting to skimp on appliance quality (although the very top top brands are out as you'll see form my budget), therefore my thinking is to buy/supply my own to fit. I'm not too fussy about having matching brands either, as I'd rather have one of the best for each area.
Budget wise, I'm aiming to get all 4 for no more than £2000, so on which brand(s) should I put my money? Bosch, Siemens, Samsung, Miele etc etc, or do I just stick with a brand(s) from the Wickes choice?
TIA
