I cut down a load of fig leaves / branches from the back garden. It's too bushy to go in the recycling bin, so off I trot to the local 'recycling centre' (née dump 
) in my ancient pick-up. But no - 65 quid a tonne a mate that'll cost ya. No vans, at all, allowed. Unless they pay. Even though I'm a resident, and pay 126 f
king quid a month for all the benefits and housing costs for the feckless amenities provided by the wonderful borough.
You know, it was a pisser when they started getting all stupid about 'building materials' and charging you for daring to try and chuck out your kitchen cupboards & whatnot, but now you can't even take fking cuttings. I had to drive 20 miles to fking watford to get rid of it and where's the sense in that - that borough's costs must be higher than it would be as people in my borough drive there in vans to get rid of st. Plus I killed the environment to get there.
