Pearl Stone Shower Trays - Ok ?

Hi,

I want a 1200x900 shower tray with a corner waste which it seems is unusual.

The local supplier has one but it is in Pearl Stone rather than the usual Stone Resin.

Google suggests this is 30-50% lighter - does it have any drawbacks as I don't want to replace it for 10+ years.

Thanks but I'm hoping to fit it tomorrow so I need a local place hence if Pearl Stone is OK I'll get it, if not I'll start calling around.
