I'm looking for ideas for the lighting for a new bathroom. I'd like to put a light in the shower where the red circle is in the drawing. It is 130cm from the shower head which is the blue square.

What zone is this considered as being?

I really want to use wall lights similar to this....

I'm pretty sure I could make them watertight but what other factors should stop me using one in the position shown? Can they be rewired to use low voltage LEDs if needed?

Nothing will fit on the wall above shower head.

These are some other views of the entire bathroom. There's only going to be one sink now, with 2 lights either side of a mirror above sink.

I was going to have 3 downlights along the flat bit of ceiling and then 2 wall lights (one in the shower as previously shown and one on the opposite wall at same height.

The purlin in the ceiling would shade the downlights on the flat ceiling so I'm in need of ideas of how to light the rest of the room.

That sounds good. If I had something like that on either side of the joists, could I do away with the down lights and just have lights either side of the mirror?

The bathroom will be similar in style to this one so I think an aluminium profile would be too modern looking. Is there a way of installing these strips so that they are very unobtrusive when not switched on?

Thanks for your advice.
