Churchill are taking the piss. Any recommendations people? It's an average 3 bed semi in a good area worth about 225,000

Just been on go compare, not happy! Churchy wants £310 to renew. The meerkats can do it with Churchill, exact same product for £93!! If that's what 12 years of loyal custom and no claims gets you they just lost my business!!

It was for building and contents. 35,000 contents and 179,000 rebuild costs with a lower voluntary excess than I have now. Pretty much my current policy but a third of the price!

Just called churchy. In seconds they took £90 off my renewal price. But didn't match the go compare price. The only explanation they offered was that it may be an on line introductory discount.

Thanks all, we're renewing with churchy for £96. I've also made an official complaint at the £310 renewal they offered me. Don't expect it will achieve anything but I will report back.....
