Mounting "bollard" lights in garden/lawn?

I need to install some "bollard" style lights around a garden/lawn,
These type of things:
They are really designed for being bolted to a solid surface.
My thinking for easiest/most cost effective would be to embed a concrete block into the ground/earth? Then bolt directly to the block.
Can anyone think of a better way? Or any products out there that I have missed?
