Idly browsing Rightmove, as you do, and I stumbled across this ad.

Now it's a significant chunk of land, but with a public footpath running through it seemingly it is of little use to anyone.
However, the fact it's being auctioned suggests it must be of some interest to someone.
Would some sharp developer grease the necessary palms to have the public right of way removed and net a small fortune?
Would one of the neighbouring houses buy it to extend their garden or the property and just forget the rest (seems viable for £1500).
Or will it simply not sell?

Pretty much as I concluded then.
For the record not a purchase I was considering, though I might if I lived in a neighbouring house (potentially to extend the garden).
Just seemed odd it was up for sale and not adopted by LCC.
I thought perhaps it was something which some property tycoon might see from a different perspective.
