It's looks alright in the pictures, but would I want to live with one in the sitting room? Anyone have one, or something similar?

No wish to convert my sitting room into a restaurant of any type, but I like coloured lights and I like movement. I have enough good taste and class to be able to cope with a single faux pas de decor smile

Comparisons with Indian establishments are lost on me, I've only been in such a place twice in my life, and the last time was at least 26 years ago.

EB's suggestion of a fish tank is one I would greatly prefer, but don't have enough spare time to deal with the maintenance. But anything which would provide the colours and some movement, ideally both random, would be well received.
