Too early to cut the grass?

Down here in the equatorial south east it's positively spring like.

The forecast is dry for the remainder of the week with a potential 15 degrees at the weekend!!!

Question is, providing the ground has dried up enough would you get going on the first cut of the season?

I'm thinking yes, then no, then yes, then no as the weather still has potential to turn nasty.

So what do you think?

Well after the big build up my garden is still too wet so I'll end up ploughing the grass rather than cutting it so I'm gonna have to wait a little longer.

Being such a nice day I fired up the mower and cut the grass, and it was fine. A little wet in places but worth it in the end.
