Sealing a new driveway?

So I have just had my driveway block paved-

A few people have mentioned that I should get it sealed.

I asked the guy who originally did my driveway and he is saying it will do it for 5 per sq mtr.


Is it something I can do myself?

Any recommendations , experiences etc?

It's 100 sq meters so £500 odd pounds- he said the main cost is in the liquid / chemical cost
