Has anyone created a penny resin floor or such like?

Any tips? Or recommended materials. I will be making this in our downstairs cloakroom.

Like this.............

Thanks.

Muncher, what was the base you layed the penny's onto?

I am thinking of putting down a sheet of no more ply or similar?

Thanks.

It was just concrete. I would go with the concrete you have if at all possible. I doubt the resin would crack but I think sticking it to a surface which cannot move or flex would be better.
Unfortunately I have wooden floorboards so need a new base.

The resin isn't absolutely brittle so I think you should be ok from a cracking point of view.
Yeah I will just put plenty of screws into the floorboards to secure them before securely putting down a no more ply or something base.

One for Speed, Plod & Law - is this legal?

It does look good. Got me thinking about making a box to mould a sink splash back.
Seeing as they have it is restaurants, bars etc I cannot see it being illegal!
