Will soon be partaking extensive alterations /extension to Zyp Towers.

Will be knocking out several walls to create one large living kitchen area, and extending out the side for an office and larger utility.
Three of the bedrooms are above this whole area, so when I'm doing the work I want to incorporate sound proofing to the ceiling.

Two questions -
1. Best stuff to use
2. Can recessed lights be installed (without compromising the sound proof quality too much)?

I'm happy to rip all the existing ceilings down if need be.

Thanks.

Is that it?
No fancy stuff required?

I'd be happy with the above if it works well!

I found the info on this site really helpful - and the prices weren't bad either so I bought my stuff from there.
Interesting stuff on there, thanks.

£3 - 4k for my ceiling for the Genie clip system yikes

Wrong calcs - it'd actually be around £1700....

50 sqm ceiling, but will have around 30 recessed lights, so I'll also need the light covers at £12 a pop!
