Bosch or Siemens Appliances?

Specifically for a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer?

My instinct when sourcing some new appliances was Bosch, but our mother in law won't stop harping on about how Siemens is better. I have no clue, and the high street retailers don't seem to stock much beyond Beko and Samsung now (looking at you Pukverld) so I'm letting PH decide figuring that you (collectively) know much more than my mother in law in almost every subject I can imagine.

Bosch are cheaper, clearly.

Cheers, its tricky when you can't get near these things and although online service from the likes of AO is great, sometimes you do want to get an idea of look and feel.

Will have a look at specs again and double check what I was looking at. Both seem equally thought out.

Spent ages trailing through specs and went with the Siemens fridge freezer, managed to get near one and I liked some of the little details. Plus it had a meat shelf, a shelf for meat.
