After getting the silicone around the bath re-done it's apparent that the leak in my bathroom is actually coming from the tiles. rolleyes

It's dripping down the wall and onto the floor underneath the bath.

What are my options here? Will a chunk of it need re-grouting or are there any decent sealants that can be applied?

Sorry should have mentioned, the source is the shower when it's on... biggrin

It's the wall adjacent to the shower, not beneath it. It's water hitting it, I've checked under the bath while hosing different parts of the wall. The grout does have some small cracks in places.

Hosing the silicone alone doesn't cause any leaking.

There's nothing apart from the wall, no other fixings.

Looks like some DIY tomorrow then, ugh.

Well this is a massive pain in the arse. Wishing I'd just phoned someone to do it now.

As a small update. Grout cracked and leaked after leaving it for 24 hours, silicone seems to have done the trick though, while looking relatively st, of course. Wet wall to come I feel.

Came home to a wet bedroom ceiling tonight. Had moss removed and the roof cleaned recently and with the rain today and over the weekend this is the result-

Outstanding, out-fking-standing. mad

According to my neighbour, yes. I wasn't in at the time.

I was wanting the moss removed (there was loads of it falling on the drive), didn't realise it would all get pressure washed though.

Best case scenario?

The guy is coming round tomorrow to have a look but I can't get off work.

The bit where the patch on the ceiling is is right at the edge of the dormer, I don't see how that could have been anything other than downwards given the shape of my roof there.

Hopefully there's some joy tomorrow...

It is a lot lighter. I had just figured the guy knew what he was doing. He sorted the car port felt and shed felt at the same time.

Bit of an update. The guy came round shortly after I posted this and he said a tile was needing moved above the bit that stained the ceiling. To be fair, it's rained pretty heavily today and a good few times since and it's been fine in the other areas as well.
