Just been quoted for a patio
Discussion
We're looking to replace the patio than came with our new build:
A neighbour has the same house and we're looking for near enough the same design and size, a little larger area though.
A local landscaper has quoted us £5825 to removed the old patio and disposal of arising, lay and point the new patio, supply / install pebbles.
The slate comes in 11.2m packs, we would need at least two packs and they're £770 ea (i'm guessing the landscaper will get trade?)
My gut feeling tells me this is quite high, but I live in the Aberdeen area where trade prices are always high.
Any thoughts? Worth getting a quote from further a field?

Thanks for all the replies, I've just emailed the chap who quoted £5800 to tell him we won't be progressing his quote further.
I can't bring myself to tell you what we paid for out decking, annoyed with myself for paying Aber-disney prices, so making a stand. Would have done the work myself in the past but my knees are shot now
