Thievery! Security required
Discussion
Some 'orrible git has been in our back garden and has snipped the tops off our lavender and other flowers.
OK It's not crime of the century but it has raised the topic of home security and we'd like to get some form of CCTV in to monitor the front and rear of the house to give us peace of mind.
Any suggestions for good quality solutions?

Upgrade fencing and side gate? Rottweilers/GSD?
We do have a Labrador who's good at barking but she's inside for most of the day. The garden's also quite open with locked access to the rear but it wouldn't take much of a climb to get over.
2 sets of neighbours would struggle to get in the garden, the others would easily be able to go over the fence. They are the most likely tbh as they always complain about our dog barking at theirs (for about 2 minutes a day - they say hello and go back to their thing).

Anti climb paint on your fences top of walls. Doesn't appear serious enough to warrant CCTV. MAYBE LEAVE A RECORDER INSIDE FACING THE GARDEN FOR A FEW DAYS.
Good point about the paint, I can at least do the rear access. Are there any cheapish recorders out there that have motion sensors?
