Quick question; just bought a replacement integrated oven that's rated at 13 Amps. The salesman on the phone said it just plugs into the mains but on unpacking it the wires are crimped with the ends that go into a proper 45 Amp hob/cooker outlet. No mains plug in sight!

So with it being a 13 Amp appliance can I just wire a plug onto it and stick it into the mains outlet behind the oven cabinet? The hob is already wired into the 45Amp outlet and I'm guessing you can't run two appliances out of it?

What is the actual rating on the appliance rating plate?
The only thing I can find says 'Input 2.16kW'. The manual States that it must be connected using fixed wiring via a double pole switched fuse spur outlet, protected by a 13A fuse.

No issue (perfectly normal) to run the cooker and hob off the same circuit.

However if it is just a 13A'r you can just shove a plug on it.

Manufacturers these days, your lucky if you get a bit of flex, let alone a plug!
So I could just plug both the hob and oven into the same outlet? The hob is rated at 25A.
