elecrickery -multiple meters / tariffs in a single property?

Having just bought an electric car (leaf) I'm wondering about how/if to change our electricity supply.

Can I get two meters installed - ie keep our normal meter for ordinary stuff and also get an economy 7 for the car charger?

I'm not convinced going to full economy 7 makes sense but If I could have both at the same time then that would seem the ideal way forward.

I was thinking in terms of a split at the service head, one path to our existing system and the new spur to an e7 meter and the charger.

It seems plausible from a practical/physical point of view but can I get it done?
