In the process of putting a corner radiator in. Just ran the pipes this avo and mounted the rad on the wall.

Now need to plumb it in.

The supplied valve is not like what I have seen before. I am not an expert on plumbing!

Can someone advise if I can "plug" this 15-10mm reducer into the bottom and tighten and then push fit my 10mm hot feed?

Thanks!

House is on 10mm plastic.

I am fairly sure the valve is 15mm.

So I need to reduce the 15mm to 10mm so I thought of using one of those speed fit connectors.

The valve has a cover so its all hidden.

Ok thanks that's great - so I need to swap over the rubber seal also?

The house is new build (ish) and the 10mm plastic is the in the walls and I am not that good at plumbing so I think the item you posted is the best solution.

FWIW I am fitting one of these (well similar) - but the pipes come out of the wall - the valve is already a 90 deg so its just a case of getting the feeds in.

So I was being a bit dumb before I was putting the olive in the other olive!

After some thinking I realised and put the reducer in the fitting as its own item and it did not fit.

2 problems. 1 it was too slack - needed to be about 20mm I guess.

2 it was blocking a lot of flow from the port.

So I went back to plan B which was the speed fit.

Its in now - and the cover on the valve covers the pipes so you cant see them so no problem.
