Just spent a month sleeping every night on an American mattress called a Chatham and Mills, I think.

Slept like a baby unlike on my Hypnos mattress at home where the aches and pains have me awake within 4 hours.

The Hypnos I bought from a supplier to a hotel chain after a good 3 nights sleep on the same at a Holiday Inn. It was surprisingly cheap for a 4'6", about £200 and it did give good service but for only a couple of years.

Now the American make is around $2000 plus so just wanted some recommendations that won't break the bank.

Please no Tempur type memory foam as they make me sweat something chronic.

Cheers

Can any of these suggested mattresses work on a wooden frame slatted bed?

Had one of those in my last rented flat. Yes, very comfy but I would wake up in a puddle of sweat. Landlady insisted on it as they don't harbour bugs and what not.

I had to stick it under the bed and use my Hypnos.
