What glue to use?

Our 13yr old lad has managed to snap the button mechanism on one of our suitcases, it's a hard black plastic lever.

Is there any glue that will do the job, if so which one? Don't want to waste money on products that won't touch it.

It came from M&S a few years ago so spares probably not an option.

Not the end of the world if I can't fix it, just seems a shame to waste so ething with years of life left in it for such a minor issue.

That thought had occurred to me but:



It's only the button to retract the handle so case will still open!

Now theres a good idea, sure I've got something suitable in the garage, araldite them in as above I guess?
