Mira Platinum Wireless - anyone have one?

I recently had my Aqualisa digital shower replaced with the new equivalent, simply because it would be a like for like swap with minimal hassle.

These showers rely on a physical cable connection between the main control box and the bathroom and this cable seems to have broken during the installation.

I am now faced with a fair bit of remedial work to replace the cable, but then I noticed these Mira wireless showers which seem to do the same thing except they don't need the wire.

Does anyone have one and/or happen to know if they are pretty much a direct replacement for the Aqualisa showers (i.e. can use the same pipework)?

Pretty sure you can download a manual or installation guide which should confirm.

Thanks. I have checked out the manual and it looks exactly the same. I have got a single pipe in the wall of the bathroom for the Aqualisa.

A few of the user reviews mention that the wireless connection can be a bit flaky in houses with a lot of other wireless items. Did you find this?

Aqualisa do a wireless control button.

It is the cable between the box and the main controller in the shower. I have another remote control on/off switch outside the shower, but that will not work when the main controller is disconnected.

There doesn't seem to be a fully wireless one listed anymore.

I am a bit concerned about going wireless as the only control anyway, hence my question about the Mira. Wireless is really flaky in my area as it is quite built up. I am fine if a wifi entertainment device starts playing up because of interference, but this is our only shower so could be a bit problematic!
